Our Captain Ian Michael responded to the Toast by thanking the EG President for his kind words then gave a resume of his professional and sporting career whilst being proud of have been a Captain of Ellesmere Golf Club. After a few anecdotes he spoke of his time on the Manchester & District Executive and how he has enjoyed his Captaincy then thanked everybody for their support particularly Tony Draper and David Sanders for their organisation of the Annual Dinner. He concluded by announcing the President and Vice Captain nominations for 2023 as being Brian Ashfield and Geoff Sellors respectively.
